This release is from Mortlach Distillery, distilled in 2000 and aged in a single first-fill sherry butt (#9470) before it was bottled on 8th February 2024 for the Connoisseurs Choice series.
Toffee apple aromas give way to lemon peel and bright vanilla. Stewed plum flavours combine with dark chocolate and orange oil. A long and spicy finish with lingering menthol.
