Founded in 1948, the Amrut distillery began producing whisky, primarily blends, in the mid-1980s.
It wasn’t until 2004 that its first single malt was launched in the UK and European markets. Made from malted barley peated in Scotland, this single cask aged in an Oloroso sherry cask exudes immense charm.
Deep and airy, its aromatic and flavor profile freely expresses a nuanced peat with unprecedented oily and chocolatey tones.
