Released in Signatory Vintage's Plume collection dedicated to cask strength first-fill sherry cask bottlings, this expression showcases the Aultmore single malt. Founded in 1896 by Alexander Edward, also the owner of Benrinnes and cofounder of Craigellachie, the Aultmore distillery became part of John Dewar & Sons in 1923 before being purchased by the Bacardi group in 1998. At once highly complex and yet surprisingly accessible, this bottling reveals the many facets of its nuanced personality with calm and serenity. The flavour and aroma palette is particularly harmonious and stands out for its many different fruit notes, delicate texture and noble autumnal tones.
