Founded in 1967, the Clynelish distillery was built a stone's throw away from the former distillery, which was renamed Brora in 1969 and reopened in 2021 after 38 years of inactivity. The Clynelish single malt, whose unique waxy character is extremely popular, is used in the famous Johnnie Walker blend and is one of its key aromatic foundations. This bottling selected from independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail is deeply complex, revealing both a rustic and a maritime character that refuses to be summed up in a single tasting note. Buoyed by a fresh wind, it continually sets a course for new flavour and aroma landscapes.
