A 2011 Craigellachie single malt from independent bottler Elixir Distillers that was matured in a single ex-sherry butt for a decade, before being bottled in February 2022 as part of its Single Malts of Scotland series. Aromas of dark-chocolate-chip-and-ginger shortbread, sherry-soaked apple slices, overripe pineapple and orange fill the nose, complemented by notes of Danish pastry, baked apple, dark chocolate honeycomb, ginger biscuits, poached pears and cinnamon sugar throughout the palate.
