Billy Walker partnered with the iconic Grattamacco winery in Tuscany, Italy to source this certifed organic French Oak cask with a medium toast. Secondary maturation for the GlenAllachie spirit in a Grattamacco Super Tuscan Barrique allows the whisky to pick up a sunset orange colour as well as nutty, stone fruit tones. The smaller size of the Barrique, compared to a butt or puncheon, gives greater wood and spirit interaction, enhancing the intensity of the ultimate flavour experience.
