Hampden 9 Years Old Red Billed Streamertail Single Cask 296 is a single cask rum from the Hampden Estate in Jamaica. The rum was distilled in 2011 and matured in cask #296 for 9 years before being bottled in 2020 at 60.3%. The release is part of the Trelawny Endemic Birds Series, featuring some of Jamaica’s rare native birds. This bottle shows the Red Billed Streamertail. Because the bird’s tail feathers resemble an old-fashioned doctor’s coattail, it is more commonly known as the ‘doctor bird’! Only 260 bottles of Hampden 9 Years Old Red Billed Streamertail Single Cask 296 have been released.
