Located in northeastern Taiwan in Yilan County, the Kavalan distillery was founded in 2005 by businessman Tien-Tsai Lee.
On March 11, 2006, the first drops of new make spirit flowed from its stills. As the first chapter in the Kavalan quadrilogy featured in the 2025 Créations catalog, Foundations, this expression presents a single malt whose finely drawn features resemble a charcoal sketch.
Particularly complex, its aromatic and gustatory palette shines with an abundance and diversity of fruity notes.
