Glendronach 28 Years Old Cask Bottling 1993 Cask #2458 is part of Glendronach’s Cask Bottling Series. For this series Master Blender Rachel Barrie gets to rummage through the warehouses among casks dating back to the 1960s to find the very best single casks for bottling. This one was distilled back in 1993 and aged for 28 years in Oloroso sherry puncheon No. 2458 before being bottled in 2021. It has a sherried nose of date, plum and raisin with oak and walnut. The palate has notes of dark chocolate, coffee, raisin and spiced wine. This cask only yielded 688 bottles so this is definitely a rare treat.
