The Bunnahabhain distillery is known for producing two types of single malts: one peated, with phenol levels between 35 and 45 ppm, representing 45% of its annual production, and the other unpeated.
This version, falling into the second category, was selected for the 20th anniversary of Whisky Live Paris, bottled at natural cask strength and aged in an oloroso sherry butt. It is literally mesmerizing.
The three stages of tasting are intimately linked, painting a particularly vibrant aromatic and gustatory picture, full of treasures revealed in the empty glass, rich in spices and medicinal notes.
