This 16-year-old Dailuaine, distilled in 2008, was carefully drawn from single cask #6, which was finished in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt. The result is a robust whisky with a natural cask strength of 57%, yielding 681 bottles. Given Dailuaine's affinity for sherry casks, this combination promises a truly delightful dram, marrying the distillery's character with the rich, fruity notes of the sherry.
