This 30 Year Old Tomintoul Single Malt whisky has been specially selected by Robert Fleming as the second bottling to commemorate his 30th year as custodian of Tomintoul Distillery. A unique full-bodied single malt, it has a depth and richness of flavour that has developed over 30 years of maturation in the fresh, pure air of the Cairngorm Mountains.

This specially selected single malt spent the first 29 years maturing in American Bourbon casks before being finished in a hand selected antique Pedro Ximenez Sherry Butt for its final year. This double cask maturation gives the whisky a perfect balance of vanilla sweetness and delicate oak, beautifully complemented with a host of dried fruit and sweet spices, creating a perfect harmony of flavour and complexity. 

NOSE: Aromas of sweet raisins, ripe plums and dates followed by a mellow background of vanilla, cocoa powder and delicate oak spiciness.

PALATE: Rich layers of dried fruit and mincemeat pies coupled with mellow heather honey, marzipan, maple syrup and baking spices.   

FINISH: Luxurious and warming with soft prunes, dried figs and coffee grounds fading into a cedar and cinnamon linger.
