1) Westward Pinot Noir Cask

A vibrant American single malt from Westward distillery that is inspired by Oregon's famous Willamette Valley wine country and influence by the region's number one grape: Pinot Noir. Initially matured in lightly charred American oak barrels and finished in ex-Pinot Noir wine casks, it offers aromas of ripe plums, apricots, leather and chocolate ganache that fill the nose, complemented by notes of Golden Delicious apple, plantain, nutmeg and rich dried fruit throughout the palate and lingering in the finish.

2) Westward Stout Cask

A rich, nutty American single malt from Westward distillery that is a celebration of Oregon's legendary brewing culture. Making use of its long-standing tradition of cask-trading with local breweries, Westward has finished this whiskey for a year in ex-stout casks, creating aromas of ripe plums, dark roasted malt, coffee and creamy cereals that fill the nose. The palate offers notes of pecans, milk chocolate, walnuts, hazelnuts, dried figs and vanilla that linger in the finish.

Westward has long partnered with friends, the Leal family, who worked with Master Distiller & Co-Founder Christian Krogstad over the course of five years to develop Casa Magdalena—an all-natural cane-to-glass rum distilled in Escuintla, Guatemala, and aged in Westward’s barrel house in Oregon. This delicious and flavorful rum, and our barrel aging partnership, sparked the idea to age Westward in these barrels for an additional year, and Westward American Single Malt Rum Cask was born.

Finished in Magdalena Rum casks, this Westward rum cask finish offers tropical and fruity notes to complement the signature bold, robust flavors of their American single malt spirit.
