A 2011 Glentauchers single malt, being bottled by Elixir Distillers on 19th April 2022, as part of its Single Malts of Scotland range.
NOSE: Aromas of baking buttery pastry, pineapple cakes and a tray of candied fruit pieces covered in freshly setting chocolate sit alongside.
PALATE: The fruit carries through – peach, pear and candied studs of pineapple. The syrupy sweetness has slight hints of aromatic cinnamon spice in the background. White chocolate shows with a few drops of water. Unctuous and delightful!
FINISH: The finish is long, viscous and decadently sweet.
