Hampden Pagos is the result of partnerships with two renowned Bodegas in Jerez: Lustau and Fundador. Several casks traveled from the Andalusian cellars to those of Hampden Estate. The first edition of Pagos was a blend of rums aged in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks from Lustau.
This third batch of Hampden Pagos is the result of blending 16 casks from Bodegas Fundador, which previously held Oloroso sherry for up to thirty years before being used to age distillates from Hampden, all made using the emblematic HLCF mark (Hampden Light Continental Flavoured). This version has an ester content of 374.1 gr/HLAP. To enhance the perfect synergy between sherry and Hampden Estate’s high ester level, Pagos has been bottled at 52%.
