Born from a partnership between the Irish distillery and the Parisian restaurant Frenchie, this micro-batch named Rue du Nil follows on from Voyages Extraordinaires, the first exclusive bottling produced for a partner by Waterford and unveiled last year in our creation catalogue. Matured in three types of cask — ex-bourbon (24%), French oak (27%) and Moscatel (49%) — it was produced from barley grown according to biodynamic practices. A combination of freshness and maturity, its palette of aromas and flavours develops with presence at a syncopated pace, bringing with it fruity, herbaceous and vanilla sequences.
